Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and its soda lake, which is home to a variety of birds and animals.

Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to a wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and many others. The crater is also home to a large number of predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

This tour will start in Zanzibar and end in Zanzibar, Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar at around 6:00am and drive you to Zanzibar airport, and then you will board your flight to Arusha airport, Arusha airport connects some domestic flights in Arusha and its situated outside of the urban area on the way to Lake Manyara National Park, there you will find your driver guide ready to pick you and drive on the tarmac road all the way to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch. You will not have to book a hotel in Arusha for this tour, may be if you want to do so.

ITINERARY

Day 1

Zanzibar to Arusha

After your flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport, your driver guide will drive you for 178km for 2:30hrs to the gate of the well know Lake Manyara National Park, The lush Acacia and Mahogany tree woods that greet you as you enter the national park start to set the tone for what lies forward. The game drive will continue till the evening with a brief picnic lunch stop. Enjoy a game drive in the crater, where you can see even more animals, including baboons, elephants, giraffes, and many more. The tree climbing lions are another attraction of Lake Manyara National Park, but finding them requires a good deal of luck. You can observe the shoreline turning pink with millions of flamingos flocking there throughout the appropriate season. In the afternoon, continue your game drive and visit the hippo pool, where you can see hippos cooling off in the water. In the evening, check in to your lodge and enjoy dinner.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

You will start early on the final day of your safari. After a brief breakfast, you’ll start your early morning descend into the crater bottom at roughly 6:30 AM. The biggest intact, inactive, and empty volcanic caldera in the world is the Ngorongoro Crater. It has a huge floor area of over 260 square kilometers and a depth of more than 2000 feet. You will see a lot of animal activity during the five-hour game drive on the crater bottom. Keeping the camera at the ready is unquestionably advised. There are several African elephants, buffalo, black rhinoceroses, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After eating a picnic lunch beside the lovely Hippo pool, you will start the ascent to the crater’s top exit. Then you will have a 4 hrs drive back to Arusha Airport where you catch your flight back to Zanzibar.
