This unique trek will take you deep into the lush forests surrounding Gombe Stream National Park, one of the best places in the world for chimpanzee tracking. Spend two unforgettable nights in the heart of the park, trekking through dense forests and encountering chimpanzees and other wildlife in their untamed environment.

Your journey begins with a guided trek through the rich, verdant landscapes, where you’ll be surrounded by towering trees and the sounds of the forest. The chimpanzee families here are habituated to humans, offering an incredible opportunity to observe their natural behaviors up close. Whether it’s watching them forage for food, groom one another, or simply relax in the treetops, this experience will give you a unique insight into the lives of these fascinating primates.

After your daily treks, unwind on the pristine shores of Lake Tanganyika, Africa’s second-largest freshwater lake. The tranquil environment provides the perfect contrast to the excitement of chimpanzee trekking.

As evening sets in, journey to Kigoma Town, a small yet vibrant town located on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Here, you’ll visit the Dr. Livingstone Memorial Museum, which honors the famous explorer’s work and contributions to the exploration of Africa. The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of the region and the legacy of one of history’s most renowned adventurers.

This 4-day chimpanzee trekking experience is perfect for those seeking to connect with nature, witness incredible wildlife, and learn about the rich cultural and historical significance of the region. Whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast, an adventure seeker, or a history buff, this journey promises an unforgettable experience.
