Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for elephants, lions, and other game as we journey deeper into the park. Upon arriving in Savuti, you’ll embark on an exciting wildlife exploration, navigating open plains and ancient riverbeds in search of iconic species.

After a break for lunch in the bush, we head out again for an afternoon game drive. With luck, you may witness the incredible zebra and wildebeest migration, a magnet for predators like lions, hyenas, and wild dogs.

Fuel up with breakfast at camp before heading out on a morning game drive into the heart of the Savuti Marsh, a wild and unpredictable landscape teeming with life. This region is a hotspot for large predators, and today’s focus is on tracking elusive lions and leopards, often spotted stalking their prey in the early morning hours.

As the day unfolds, your guide will take you to one of Savuti’s hidden gems — the ancient Bushman rock paintings nestled among the rocky outcrops. Here, history and wilderness blend beautifully, offering a quiet moment of reflection in the middle of the wild.

As dusk approaches, settle into a perfect vantage point for an authentic African sunset. Watch the sky explode into shades of orange, red, and gold over the marsh — a breathtaking end to an action-packed day.

Day 4: Into the Heart of Moremi

After an early breakfast, break camp and set out on a scenic game drive as you journey south toward Kwai, located in the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, a true gem of the Okavango Delta. Known for its rich wildlife and contrasting landscapes, the drive to Moremi offers excellent opportunities to spot elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and a variety of antelope, with predators never far behind. Upon arrival in Kwai, you’ll settle in and prepare for an afternoon safari.

In the afternoon, set out in an open 4×4 vehicle for a classic Moremi game drive along the riverbanks, tracking wildlife against the backdrop of the golden African light. This area is famous for its concentration of game and is often considered the best wildlife-viewing region of the Okavango Delta. As the sun sets over the floodplains, soak in the serenity and colors of the delta during a sunset stop near the river, a perfect moment to reflect and snap some memorable photos.

Return to camp for a freshly prepared bush dinner and relax under the vast, star-filled sky before turning in for the night.
