Day 2: Explore the Okavango Delta

Rise and shine early today with a wake-up call around 5:30 am, as we head out for a thrilling morning game drive in search of predators on the prowl. After an exciting adventure, we’ll return to camp by 8:30 am for a hearty breakfast to refuel. Depending on the water levels, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a boat cruise or mokoro ride, giving you a unique perspective of the Okavango Delta’s diverse fauna and flora. One boat cruise is included in the itinerary, and your guide will provide you with the details.

As the day transitions into night, you’ll experience the sounds of the wild in a whole new way. The quiet of the day is replaced by the distant, haunting calls of hyenas and the deep roars of lions. Gather around the campfire with us, where our guide will share stories of growing up surrounded by the incredible wildlife of the Okavango. The guide and team will explain the night sounds, helping you connect with the area’s natural rhythm.

Day 3: Return to Maun

Start your final day with an early morning game drive, well before the Kalahari sun rises over the savanna. This early drive offers a fantastic chance to spot “the big cats” lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they hunt in the cool morning hours. After this exciting wildlife viewing, we’ll begin our journey back to Maun.

The drive itself is an adventure, taking you through wildlife-rich areas adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve, where you’ll be treated to more incredible landscapes and animal sightings.
Upon arrival in Maun, the tour concludes. We will drop you off at your lodge, hotel, or airport, or assist you with your onward travel arrangements to continue your African adventure.
