Materuni Village Day Trip

Your professional guide will pick you from your accommodation in Moshi at around 9:00 am, getting on a 40-minute journey to Materuni village. Once you’ve completed the registration process at the village office, your exciting adventure can commence.

Your adventure begins with a scenic hike through the verdant foothills of Kilimanjaro. You will stroll along narrow trails through dense vegetation for approximately 45 minutes. Weave through banana groves and coffee farms, where friendly Chagga farmers might greet you with warm smiles and stories of their craft. Breathe in the crisp mountain air, alive with the chirping of exotic birds and the rustle of leaves. 

As you ascend, the anticipation builds, culminating in a breathtaking reveal: the majestic Materuni Waterfalls. Take a dip in this natural jacuzzi, feel the power of the cascading water massage your worries away, and let the cool spray invigorate your soul. Afterward, you will return to the village, following a partially different route that will also take approximately 45 minutes.
