The country enforces a standard speed limit of 60km per hour on its roads, ensuring smooth travel across its scenic landscapes.

For those seeking a quicker and more scenic way to travel, Akagera Aviation provides chartered helicopter services to various destinations across Rwanda, offering a unique perspective of the country from above.
While there is a domestic flight between Kigali and Kamembe Airport (KME) in Cyangugu, located at the southern tip of Lake Kivu, this route is infrequently used by most travelers. The flight, operated by RwandAir, serves a niche market but is not a common choice for tourists.
