Your trip overview

Widely regarded as the most beautiful approach to Mount Kenya’s summit, the Chogoria Route offers an unforgettable hiking experience, combining raw alpine adventure with breathtaking scenery at every turn. It’s not just a trek, it’s a visual journey through some of Kenya’s most diverse landscapes.

Famed for its spectacular views and dramatic terrain, Chogoria is the driest route on the mountain, making it ideal for trekkers looking for more stable weather and panoramic vistas. One of the route’s highlights is the walk along the Gorges Valley, a jaw-dropping stretch that feels more like a walking safari than a mountain ascent. With sweeping views, pristine lakes, and vast moorlands, every step is picture-perfect.

As the route joins the Sirimon Track during descent, you’ll pass through enchanting forest trails teeming with wildlife and complete your mountain journey surrounded by natural beauty. This combination of high-altitude challenge and rich biodiversity makes the Chogoria-Sirimon route a favorite among seasoned hikers.

Our certified and experienced guides are not only knowledgeable but also well-trained in altitude sickness management, ensuring your safety and well-being throughout the climb. With their friendly support and expert care, you can focus on the adventure of a lifetime, summiting Point Lenana, Mount Kenya’s iconic peak.
