Day by Day

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha City - 55km/1hr

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport meet and greet by our driver guide who will transfer you to your hotel.

Overnight at Mid-range: hotel Arusha Planet Lodge  on Bed and Breakfast.
Overnight at Comfort Hotel: Kibo Palace Hotel on Bed and Breakfast.

Days 2: Arusha City – Lake Manyara National Park 110km/1:50hrs

Breakfast at the Lodge,

Pick up: After breakfast our driver guide will pick you from your Lodge and drive for full day game drive at Lake Manyara National Park.

Activity: Game viewing in Lake Manyara National Park in the park. Enjoy the excellent game-viewing and birdlife. Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, breathtaking views and incredible ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and amazing numbers of birds. Lake Manyara’s game includes buffalo and wildebeest, giraffe, Zebra, warthog, impala, Kirk’s dik dik, waterbuck near some of the springs, and klipspringer on the slopes of the escarpment.

Day 3: Karatu – Serengeti National Park 232km/5hrs

Pick up: After breakfast our driver guide will pick you from your lodge and drive you to Serengeti National Park for a game drive.

Activity: Heading towards the Central Serengeti National Park, Leaving the highlands behind, we enter the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. The Seronera Valley has resident herds of buffalo, topi, hartebeest and impala, waterbuck, reedbuck and dik dik, giraffe, warthog, and birdlife of all colors and sizes. It is famous for its abundant lions and leopards.

Meal: Picnic lunch box will be provided by your driver guide at the picnic site.. Early evening drive to your camp inside the park for evening at leisure and hot dinner

Activity: We continue our focus in this area. The Seronera Valley has resident herds of buffalo, topi, hartebeest and impala, waterbuck, reedbuck and dik dik, giraffe, warthog, and birdlife of all colors and sizes. The large prides of lion here are renowned in this area, rolling southern plains down to the Naabi Gate is the area in which you are most likely to encounter cheetah. The lines of sausage trees along the Seronera riverbanks provide the perfect environment for leopards to camouflage themselves on sun-dappled branches.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ndutu Area -260km/5hrs

Breakfast at the lodge,

 Pick up: After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your lodge and brief you about the whole safari program there after he will start drive you to Ndutu Area through Ngorongoro Conservation Area for enjoy the migration game view.

Activity: Game viewing in Southern plains Serengeti for calving seasons of the great wildebeest migration, enjoy the excellent game-viewing and many animal enthusiasts. With the largest number of mammal’s species collection, Serengeti unconditionally beats any other wildlife sanctuary of Africa. This is the best place to see the Big Five, as well as it is where the Great Migration starts and ends its annual odyssey. Majestic elephants, mighty rhinos, towering giraffe’s slender leopards, kingly lions and funny warthogs – this all about Serengeti.

Day 6: Full day at Ndutu Area

Breakfast at the camp,

Pick up: After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your camp and drive you to Ndutu Area for a game drive.

Activity Game viewing, you will have a chance to witness the Migrations in Ndutu Plains. During game drives, you will be able to see the fertile Ndutu plains turn into calving grounds and nursery for the great migration. This also attracts masses of predators preying on vulnerable young wildebeest. Watching the circle of life take its course will be an unforgettable experience etched for life.

Day 7: Ndutu Area – Ngorongoro Conservation Area – 289km/4:00hrs.

Breakfast at the camp,

Pick up: After breakfast our driver guide will pick you from your camp for the final game drive at Ndutu Area.

Activity: The calving season is truly a remarkable time in Tanzania and has so much to offer any safari-goer looking to see something other than the usual river crossing. Calving usually takes place between Mid-January through March of each year. Early January the herds begin making their way to the south of the Serengeti (Ndutu Area) after the rains start falling. Calving Season also is a time where kills are plenty due to the large number of vulnerable calves.

Meal: Picnic lunch box will be provided by your driver guide at the picnic site. Early afternoon you will drive to your camp outside the park for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 8:Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Tarangire National Park: 245km/4:20hrs

Breakfast at the camp,

Pick up: After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your camp and drive to the Ngorongoro crater floor for a game drive

Activity: Take a short drive to the rim of the crater. Soon after descending over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Ngorongoro is home to one of the highest densities of lions in Africa. Also, this is perhaps the best place to see the Black Rhino. If you’re itching to see the Big 5, in Ngorongoro you’re likely to spot all five in one place.

Meal: Picnic lunch box will be provided by your driver guide at the picnic site. Early evening you will drive to your camp outside the park for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 9: Tarangire National Park - Kilimanjaro International Airport: 171km/3hrs drive

Breakfast at the Lodge,

Pick up: After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your Camp and drive you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive.

Activity: Game viewing at Tarangire National Park. As you stand at the park gate and look south, it stretches as far as the eye can see. Known as the ‘Elephant Playground,’ this phenomenal park contains huge herds of these mighty mammals. But Tarangire is also home to buffalo, lion, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle and the park can rival Serengeti for sheer animal densities. What might you see today? Perhaps a solitary male lion stretched out beneath a tree, perhaps a trio of male cheetah enjoying some lazy bonding-time in the sun. Maybe some graceful Grant’s gazelle or zebra bounding away from the road or a couple of giraffes munching happily from the choicest acacia branches. For Tarangire specialties, look out for kudu and Oryx.

Meal: Picnic lunch box will be provided by your driver guide at the picnic site. Soon after the game drive you drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight to home.

Departure Instructions: This Tour ends at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 17:30hrs, you can only depart on this day if you have booked a Domestic flight which departs from Kilimanjaro International Airport at 19:40hrs and onwards or an International Flight which departs at 21:00hrs and onwards. Otherwise, you will need to book a post night Accommodation if you are departing with any earlier flight.
