Day by Day

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha City - 55km/1hr

Upon arrival, you will be met at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) by your personal safari specialist and driver who will brief you on the journey ahead. Equipped with a wealth of knowledge, our experts will be able to answer any questions you have and provide you with all the information necessary for an unforgettable safari experience. And then he will transfer you to your hotel.

Days 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park (countryside, sceneries & Game drives) 120Km/2:30 hrs

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Pick up: After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your lodge and drive you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive.

Activity: your safari driver will pick you up from your Hotel, you will begin your journey to the unique Tarangire National Park. One of the last untouched places on earth, the park is famous for its huge herds of elephants against a stunning backdrop of majestic, ancient Baobab trees. Many of Tarangire’s larger residents follow the rains to greener pastures between Novembers through June.

There are large populations of impala, giraffe, eland, and buffalo. Thompson’s gazelle, hartebeest, bohor reedbuck, and both the greater and lesser kudu are also in abundance here. Lion pride is common throughout Tarangire in terms of predators, as are leopards and spotted hyenas. Packs of wild dogs sometimes pass through as well

Day 3: Tarangire NP– Serengeti National Park - 280Km/4-5 hrs

Breakfast at the Lodge,

Pick up: After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your lodge and drive you to Serengeti National Park for a game drive.

Activity: Heading towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we enter the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. The Seronera Valley has resident herds of buffalo, topi, hartebeest and impala, waterbuck, reedbuck and dik dik, giraffe, warthog, and birdlife of all colors and sizes. It is famous for its abundant lions and leopards.

Days 4: Central Serengeti National Park to West Serengeti NP

Breakfast at the camp,

Pick up: After breakfast our driver guide will pick you from your camp and drive for full day game drive in Serengeti National Park

Activity: you set off to the Western Corridor, following in the footsteps of the Great Migration and spotting herds as they look for the safest place to cross. Around end of May and June, a vast army of 3 wildebeests along with its partners: zebras, elands and gazelles mill around the Western Corridor of the Serengeti, south of the Grumeti River. You can encounter leopards and hyenas and ahead by giant Nile crocodiles, many hundreds perish as some hazard the river crossing while others detour it.

Meal: Picnic lunch box will be provided by your driver guide at the picnic site

Day 5: Full Day in West Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at the camp,

Pick up: After breakfast our driver guide will pick you from your camp and drive for full day game drive in Serengeti National Park

Activity 1: you set off to the Western Corridor, following in the footsteps of the Great Migration and spotting herds as they look for the safest place to cross. Day 6: West Serengeti to Central Serengeti National Park – 140 km/3hrs

Breakfast at the camp,

Pick up: After breakfast our driver guide will pick you from your camp and drive for re-route game drive to Central Serengeti

Activity: Game drive reroute to Central part of Serengeti. The Seronera Valley has resident herds of buffalo, topi, hartebeest and impala, waterbuck, reedbuck and dik dik, giraffe, warthog, and birdlife of all colors and sizes. The large prides of lion here are renowned in this area, rolling southern plains down to the Naabi Gate is the area in which you are most likely to encounter cheetah. The lines of sausage trees along the Seronera riverbanks provide the perfect environment for leopards to camouflage themselves on sun-dappled branches.
Soon after the game drive at west you will have game en-route to Central for hot dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro - 145km/3.3hrs

Breakfast at the camp,

Pick up: After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your camp and drive for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park.

Activity 1: Balloon Safari ride

Activity 2: Heading off on our final morning game-drive in Serengeti. Later, the adventure will continue when we travel up to Ngorongoro, another African icon.

Early afternoon drive to your camp in Ngorongoro region, arrive for evening at leisure and hot dinner

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Kilimanjaro Airport: 245km/4:20hrs

Breakfast at the camp

Pick up: After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your camp and drive to the Ngorongoro crater floor for a game drive

Activity: Take a short drive to the rim of the crater. Soon after descending over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Ngorongoro is home to one of the highest densities of lions in Africa. Also, this is perhaps the best place to see the Black Rhino. If you’re itching to see the Big 5, in Ngorongoro you’re likely to spot all five in one place.

Meal: Picnic lunch box will be provided by your driver guide at the picnic site

Soon after ascending out of the floor of the crater you drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight to home.

Departure Instructions: This Tour ends at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 17:30hrs, you can only depart on this day if you have booked a Domestic flight which departs from Kilimanjaro International Airport at 19:40hrs and onwards or an International Flight which departs at 21:00hrs and onwards. Otherwise, you will need to book a post night Accommodation if you are departing with any earlier flight.
