Your trip overview

A 4-day safari from Zanzibar is a great way to experience the best of Tanzania’s wildlife. You’ll visit three of the country’s most famous national parks: Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.

You will follow the Serengeti wildebeest migration in northern Serengeti, Serengeti is one of the largest wildlife reserves in Africa. Its home to the famous wildebeest migration, which takes place every year between June and October. You’ll also see many other animals in the park, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s a collapsed volcano that’s now home to a wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. You’ll also see many different types of birds, including flamingos and pelicans.

You can observe lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and a wide variety of antelopes while driving through Tarangire National Park. You might even be able to spot a threatened species, like the Greater Kudu or the Fringe-Eared Oryx.

Because Zanzibar and the Serengeti National Park are so far apart, this trip can only be taken by plane. Our packages includes everything including the local flights and hotel booking to make your vacation relaxed. The safari concludes in Arusha with a flight back to Zanzibar. If you want to end the tour in Arusha, we may drop you off at Arusha Kilimanjaro Airport and deduct the cost of your return flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Since it is a customized tour, we might adjust it to meet your particular requirements, ideas, and spending limit. Ideal safari trip arrangements in Tanzania should be made well in advance. This is because it could be challenging to secure lodging quickly during the high and peak seasons. If you allow us to first check for lodging and flight availability before making a payment, we can still plan this holiday in a timely manner.

This is just a sample itinerary for a 4-day safari from Zanzibar. There are many other options available, so you can customize your safari to fit your interests and budget.

You can go on an early morning game drive if you can wake up early enough. Speak with our driver guide the previous evening. Early risers among diurnal animals as well as unusual nocturnal animal species that are more active at night can both be seen during sunrise game drives. The majority of animals gather by the side of the road to avoid the morning dew, making it a fantastic opportunity to observe wildlife up close. You will start your day in the Serengeti National Park after breakfast at your camp or lodge. Additionally, you can go on wildlife drives in the morning and at dusk, stopping for lunch and some downtime at the resort in between.

The Maasai word “Siringit,” which means “endless plains,” is where the word “Serengeti” originates. True to its name, you will travel over broad swaths of the African savannah in search of the diverse animals and birds that the Serengeti has to offer. The Serengeti is home to about 1.5 million wildebeests, but there are other animals as well.
