Day by Day

Day 1: Chobe National Park Safari - Boat Cruise on Chobe River

Begin your adventure with a morning transfer from Victoria Falls or Livingstone to Botswana at 7:30 AM. Upon arrival at Kazungula, you’ll be greeted by your guide who will assist you through immigration procedures. After a brief orientation covering important safety tips and regional insights, you’ll be ready to begin your Chobe National Park tour. For those staying in Kasane, the tour departs directly from local hotels and lodges.

At 9:30 AM, embark on a scenic 3-hour boat cruise along the iconic Chobe River, one of the highlights of your safari. This river cruise offers unparalleled opportunities to encounter the diverse wildlife of Chobe, including: Large herds of elephants and Cape buffalo coming down to the river to drink

Majestic hippos and crocodiles basking on the banks. A variety of vibrant birdlife, perfect for bird watchers and photographers. The boat cruise concludes at Coffee Buzz around 12:30 PM, where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Following lunch, take a brief opportunity to shop in Kasane for any personal items, as there are no shops inside the Chobe National Park.

Day 2: Chobe National Park Safari

The day begins early with a warm greeting of water poured into your basin and a cheerful Botswana “dumela” (good day). After a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and a light continental breakfast, you’ll set off for an early morning game drive. This time of day offers the best chance to spot big cats or wild dogs, as they are still active in the cool morning hours.

By mid to late morning, you’ll return to camp for a hearty bush brunch and the chance to enjoy a refreshing shower. After packing up, you’ll embark on your final game drive before being dropped off in Kasane/Kazungula at 4:30 pm for your transfer back to Victoria Falls.
